What ski is right for me?

There are a few things to consider when buying water skis. Weight being the predominant factor, but speed is also an important factor. Something else to consider is the boat horsepower available.

Weight: when it comes to skis weight plays an important role. Many manufacturers use weight alone when recommending a ski. However this varies depending on the model of ski.

Skiing speed: How fast you ski is also important to the ski you choose. If you are a recreational skier who skis at 26-30mph you may want to consider a longer ski. However if you are a slalom skier who skis at 36mph than you may want to choose a smaller ski.

Horsepower: If you have a low powered boat or weigh in at 200+ lbs you may need a longer ski to help you get up out of the water easier.
